Have You Said “Thank You” Today?
There are people in our lives that do a variety of things for us on a daily basis. Pause for just a moment to consider the parent that packs the children’s lunches so that they will have a full and satisfied tummy to finish their school day. Think of the parent that washes the clothes the children wear so they will have fresh, clean clothes for school. There’s also the spouse that cleans the bathroom behind themselves after shaving so there isn’t hair all over the sink or the floor, or the one that just sees a chore that needs to be done in the house and does it without being asked. Consider the one that stocks the crock pot so there will be a hot, wholesome meal upon the family’s return at the end of the day.
Have you said “Thank You” today?
I’m not just talking about a quick comment in passing but a genuine, straight from the heart “Thank you!”
Don’t just give the blanket cover-all of, “Thank you for all you do.” Be specific. State exactly what it is that you’re thankful for. List the things that you have such gratitude and appreciation in your heart over. It will make a difference when your from-the-heart words ring into their ears.
Show your appreciation, gratitude, and practice saying “THANK YOU” more often, beginning today!
