How did we come up with Light Love Hope, and what exactly does our name mean?
Light. The greatest light of all time is Jesus! Please know that this is not a site where we will attempt to cram our beliefs down your throat. We have had that done to us more times than we care to recall, so we do not wish to come across to you in this fashion. However, we do feel it is of the utmost importance that we honor God as the reason behind this site and Jesus, the true Light of The World! John 8:12 (NLT) Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
Love. There is no greater love than the love from God above. John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Hope. No matter what situation you are in, no matter how discouraged you may feel at times, please don’t lose hope. There have been times in our lives that have tested and tried us, times when we did not know how we would go on. Instead of allowing the situations to cripple us, we, instead, focused on what Jesus says in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,“ says the Lord, “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” In times of despair, cling to this verse.
