Musical Inspiration
Have you stopped to consider how much music inspires, encourages, and reduces anxiety in our lives? Do you have a song in your heart (psst, God placed it there)? Do you walk around humming to yourself or whistling a tune? I’ve been told that it is a sign of happiness when you do that.
Have you ever been sitting at your desk at work just stressing out about an upcoming presentation or a meeting that you’re preparing for? Then you turn on the radio or turn to your ipod for that much needed stress reliever. As the tunes begin to crank out of your device, it is almost as if you can watch musical notes and symbols float out of the speakers and into the room as you get lost in the music. Whether it’s the bass thumping or the sweet sound of someone tickling the ivories on the grand piano, music is just soothing to our souls!
The next time you’re having a hard day or are in a bad mood, turn to music to comfort and relax you. I can guarantee that it will perk you right up, and you will be smiling once more.

Sometimes we joke around in our house about how we are living life in a musical! We burst out into song frequently and I love that. Life is better lived with a soundtrack!

Oh, I love what you wrote! My daughters and I do this, too!! It is so much fun, and we put everything to music – even ordinary tasks around the house or with just talking to the dog. We will just make up a song! Too funny!
