When The World Closes In And You Feel Trapped
There are going to be times in life when you feel you are in a situation that you just can’t get out of for any reason. You feel like the walls are closing in around you. Anxiety may start to kick in. Your mind becomes awash in a flood of this or that but nothing seems to help you find your way out. It gets frustrating. It gets infuriating. You can start feeling helpless. And what can happen in this situation is you start to close yourself in and only see the things that are making you feel that you are engulfed in your situation.
The hardest part of all this is to realize that you are not alone and that God it watching out for you. You may feel that He has abandoned you. But He hasn’t. You have to try to see things that might be right in front of you that can help you get through this situation. There are people, such as your family and/or friends, that love you and, with God’s guidance, are there to help you though this situation. It could be a small gesture or some simple change of things that may lead you out of your situation or that can help you cope in ways you have not thought of before.
Another hard thing to do is to not block out those that truly love you and want to help you with all their heart. They are out there even if you can’t see that right now. There will be family and friends that will say that they want to help, but in the end, it will be just words not followed by actions. Then, there are those that will be there for you no matter what happens. It may be a very hard thing for you to accept the help of others because you feel you need to be strong and stand on your own. You should consider that God brought these people into your life for this very reason; to be there for you when you need it the most and to love you when you feel lost and alone.
There are angels all around you. Let yourself be touched by them.

YES!!! This is so encouraging and such a timely message.
It reminded me of something my mother shared with me recently.
She stated that sometimes we feel like God is “nowhere” to be found, but when we split the word “nowhere” down the middle the truth is revealed. Which is that God is “now here”.
God promised that He would never leave nor forsake us. Therefore, we can always rest assured that He is now here with us, regardless of where we are at or what we may be going through or experiencing. That is such a powerful promise and revelation.
